Monachus Yachts was founded in 2006 by Hari Tabak, a Croatian boatbuilder who began his career in sailboats. The name comes from the Latin for the Mediterranean monk seal — a symbol of grace, confidence and harmony in movement across the water.
From the beginning, Hari's vision was singular: a well-balanced, reliable, aesthetically refined motor yacht — with soft lines, a low silhouette, and excellent handling — built in limited numbers, in close collaboration with the people who would own it. Twenty years later, the philosophy is unchanged.

Hull shape, keel geometry, low centre of gravity and weight distribution are engineered for optimal stability and smooth navigation at both planning and displacement speeds. The result is a yacht that feels honest in confused seas.
Advanced composites, fiberglass, carbon fiber, hardwoods and marine-grade stainless steel ensure strength, durability and lightweight performance. Vacuum infusion and resin post-curing are standard, not premium options.
Monachus does not build mass-produced boats. Each yacht is tailored to its owner: interior layout, materials, finishes, equipment, even hull colour. The shipyard accommodates variations because every yacht has a person behind it.
