TLM Marine began as a small, family-driven marine business on the Estonian coast. Three generations later, we represent Monachus Yachts as their exclusive partner in the Baltic, Nordic and DACH regions — pairing Croatian boat-building heritage with the cold-water sailing knowledge of Northern Europe.
We are based in Tallinn, but our work happens wherever our owners cruise: the Stockholm archipelago, the Gulf of Finland, the German Baltic coast, the Bornholm crossings, and increasingly the Mediterranean as our clients add second-home cruising grounds.
We chose to work with one shipyard. Not because we couldn't carry more brands, but because the experience of owning a Monachus deserves an undivided team: one point of contact, one set of standards, one philosophy from the first sea trial to the tenth year of ownership.
We don't broker a catalogue. Every quote, every contract, every refit is handled by the same people. The conversation that starts before the build never ends.
Specifications tuned for Baltic and Nordic conditions: heated systems, cold-start packages, ice-rated mooring kits, winter storage in Tallinn and Helsinki.
Private viewings, NDAs by default, off-record references, flag-of-convenience structuring. Our client list is not a marketing asset — it is the reason owners introduce us to their peers.
When an owner first contacts us, the question we ask is not "which yacht are you interested in." It is "how do you cruise." Region, season, who is on board, what makes a weekend feel right, what makes a longer trip worth doing. From those answers, the right Monachus reveals itself — sometimes after the first conversation, sometimes after a visit to the Croatian shipyard, sometimes after a season on a brokered pre-owned yacht.
We are not in a hurry. The yachting decision is one of the more considered purchases anyone makes — for a reason. We respect that pace, and we plan our work around it. A typical TLM Marine client conversation lasts six to fourteen months before the contract; the relationship after delivery lasts a decade or more.
If you appreciate that approach, we would welcome a conversation. If you prefer fast, transactional sales, we will respectfully suggest one of the larger volume dealers — and wish you well at sea.
